Mitie has been named supplier of the new Crown Commercial Services (CCS) framework, RM6232. This appointment allows Mitie to bid on contracts across government departments and public sector organizations to provide a full range of facilities management services, from waste management and landscaping to maintenance, cleaning, hospitality and building security. The contract is for a period of four years.
Only nominated suppliers can tender for work under RM6232 for contracts with a total value of up to £36 billion. This solidifies Mitie’s position as a key supplier to government, enabling it to offer its significant expertise and experience in providing facilities management services to the public sector.
The Crown Commercial Service helps the public sector achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2020/21, CCS has helped the public sector realize business benefits worth £2.04 billion – supporting world-class public services that deliver the best value for taxpayers.
Mitie is already a supplier under other CCS contracts, including Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Solutions (VCIS), Heat Networks and Electricity Generation Assets (HELGA) and Building Cleaning Services contracts.
