A global affairs expert and economist will speak at the Solano Economic Development Corporation’s annual meeting breakfast, April 29 at 8 a.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn in Fairfield.
Robert Hess is an industry leader in business location strategy and site selection. He will deliver the keynote address at the rally, which will discuss opportunities for growth in Solano County’s economy, industries and talent pool.
As vice president of a $2.2 billion company, he works in Newmark’s Global Corporate Services division, leading more than 1,000 employees focused on global business and real estate. He has led over 275 successful projects in North America and around the world, including mega-installations in Asia, Europe and Mexico, and will share his insights on incentives and other key factors to attract business to Solano.
Dr. Robert Eyler, President of Economic Forensics and Analytics, Inc., will also speak. He is the former co-founder and consulting partner of Cushman & Wakefield’s global supply chain consulting group. He was a long-time contributor to Deloitte’s Fantus Location Strategies service line and led more than 30 major economic development initiatives for states, regions, utilities and private developers.
