In this final installment of the New York 2021 Space Business Roundtable, we will conclude our discussion on ESG with a “Festivus” panel on unethical (or unethical) applications of artificial intelligence for commercial space industry.

We will examine the ethics of AI and space and ask the question, “Does AI enable or replace human capacity?” Where are the lines that cannot be crossed? Do we even have control over the advancement of AI? Is it as important to get to a place as different, dangerous and vast as space?

Robert Cardillo, chief strategist and president of Planet Federal and Will Griffin, chief ethics officer of Hypergiant, a leader in enterprise AI, will help us address this issue. John Markoff, author of Machines of Loving Grace was invited. SpaceNews’ Jason Rainbow moderates.
